In 2006, attorneys Ron Skufca and Zac Moretz merged their firms into Moretz & Skufca, PLLC, with offices in Charlotte and Concord. The combined firm offers a broad scope of legal services while maintaining their commitment to providing personal attention to each client. Moretz & Skufca, PLLC provides legal services in the areas of business law, commercial real estate, business litigation, construction law, family law, homeowners association and planned community law, and motorsports law.
Ron Skufca is a trial lawyer concentrating his practice in the areas of business litigation, construction law and family law. Ron leads the firm’s litigation practice group as well as the Charlotte office, located in South Church Street in South End near Uptown Charlotte.
Zac Moretz is certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a specialist in commercial real estate law, and leads the firm’s real estate and transactional practice from the downtown Concord office.
Both lawyers graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Ron Skufca represents individuals and businesses in complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts. He is actively involved in the community having served on the board of the Dilworth Community Development Association, and Dilworth Child Development Center, as a member of the Dilworth South End Rotary club, and coaching and sponsoring his kids Charlotte Junior soccer league teams, Charlotte Swim and Racuet Club Swim Team, and Dilworth Little League baseball teams.
Zac Moretz primarily represents commercial and residencial real estate developers, building owners and lenders in commercial real estate transactions, as well as homeowners associations and builders. He also counsels businesses regarding contract and other business law matters. Moretz is a member of the Cabarrus County Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association and the Cabarrus County Chamber of Commerce. He is a former commissioner on the Concord Historic Preservation Commission, past president of the Concord Downtown Development Corp., board member of Historic Cabarrus, Inc. and past board member of The North Carolina Trust for Historic Preservation, Inc. Prior to starting his firm, Zac Moretz was vice president and in-house counsel with a large commercial and residential real estate developer as well as an attorney in the commercial real estate practice of Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice
