Moretz & Skufca Announces North Carolina Homeowners Association Law Blog

We are happy to announce the first post in the N.C. HOA Law Blog, discussing a recent Court of Appeals case which addressed whether a homeowner in a Charlotte-area HOA could keep two "certified Dwarf Nigerian" goats as pets when the CCRs specifically prohibited livestock. The case raises interesting questions regarding the wording of CCRs and how our appeals courts interpret HOA issues. We encourage you to subscribe to the blog so you'll be notified when new ones come out (just use the "Follow by email" link on the blog), and we promise to try to keep them light and easy to read. We'll be blogging every two weeks on new developments in North Carolina HOA law and offering legal tips and pointers of interest to those of us in the HOA industry.
